There is no pond that is immune from parasites. It is only a matter of “WHEN” they will show up. In the best of conditions, fish can withstand parasites, but when they bite, you want to have the protection right away! Nobody can multiply like parasites, so hours can become lethal to the fish under siege. At the first sign of flashing or jumping, you should do a scraping and check for parasites under a microscope. Treat fast and treat right.
Although many fungal-appearing growths may not be fungus, and may be parasitic or bacterial infections, you won’t know unless you use a microscope. In the event of fungal infection, however, you will want to have the safe, healing treatment.
As with any other medications, please follow directions. Know the exact amount of water you have in the pond you are treating and maintain the best water quality for the health of your fish.

Treatment for Lice and Anchor Worms
MICROBE-LIFT/Lice and Anchor Worm is the most effective treatment for diseases of fish caused by lice and anchor worms. When used as directed, MICROBE- LIFT/Lice and Anchor Worm will not harm biological filtration and may be used on scaleless fish.
MICROBE-LIFT/Lice and Anchor Worm may be used in any water temperatures above 40º F (4ºC).
MICROBE-LIFT/Lice and Anchor Worm should be stored in the original container above 40ºF (4ºC) and under 100ºF (38ºC).
Do not store MICROBE-LIFT/Lice and Anchor Worm in direct sunlight. Do not allow MICROBE-LIFT/Lice and Anchor Worm to freeze.
Shake well before use
Directions: Dose at the rate of one fluid ounce per 300 gallons (1,136 L.). Prior to the initial use of MICROBE-LIFT/Lice and Anchor Worm a partial water change of 20% is recommended. This removes pollutants for disease-causing organisms and will reduce the number of water-borne pathogens.
For best results, perform three treatments one week apart with water changes prior to each re-treatment.
Contraindications: Safe for use on all ornamental pond fish, reptiles, amphibians and mollusks. Must NOT be used where crayfish and other crustaceans are being cultured.
Keep out of reach of children.
